Circa 1880, large rectangular walnut framed centre stool, with a newly upholstered stuffover top in red/burgundy leather. The leather is held in place by studding and leather strapping. The walnut frame has an ogee moulding at the top edge and below this are 4 elegant turned, fluted and tapering legs. There is a ring turned section at the bottom and the whole piece stands on brown porcelain castors. The stool is clean, solid and sturdy.
