Circa 1890, George III style mahogany 3 door glazed bookcase on stand. The large bookcase has Greek key and blind fretwork decorated cornice above 3 astragal glazed doors with sweeping stylised astragals and geometric ones below it. The doors open to reveal a series of adjustable shelves. The shelves have a shaped front which is polished and there is a pine panelled back. Beneath the doors there is a deep apron with egg and dart beading and the whole piece stands on 6 elegant turned and styled feet. Good size and good colour.

With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
