A fine Doulton Lambeth stoneware jug in the Art Nouveau style, dating from the 1890s. The jug features a tan-coloured body with a glazed foliage tube design set against a dot-relief pattern on the tapered upper section.Decorated in relief with sporting-themed figures depicting football, shot put, and running. The base bears the impressed Doulton Lambeth stamp along with the artist’s initials RB, for Rosina Brown. A metal band encircles the rim.Dimensions:.20.5cm high by approx. 13.5cm wideCondition: A minor 2 mm sliver is missing from the lip of the spout, likely caused during the mounting of the metal rim.
