18th century lowestoft ceramic basket - printed and painted in pine cone pattern

A delightful Lowestoft, porcelain blue and white 'Fir Cone Pattern' basket from this desirable English manufacturer.

It is a most attractive and elegant item that benefits from pierced sides that are complemented and decorated with flowers. The interior of the basket is also heavily decorated with the pine cone pattern.
CONDITION: The basket has some minor small nibbles on some of the flowers and it does have some firing cracks as shown in the photographs. It is still such and elegant basket that would make an attractive display item or enhance a collection of this wonderful 18th Century English manufacturer.Ref 2160
