    June Newsletter

Posted by Gillian Jones on 25/05/2016

It's almost summer and we've already had some warm weather, hopefully it's a sign of things to come. This month we've been taking a look at statement pieces and how you can transform any room in your home with either a vintage or more modern piece. It takes time to choose the right one, after all it has to fit in with your décor, and the colour scheme, so it's worth thinking it over before you buy. That one well thought out piece is all you need to change the overall look, or just to give your room that extra something that will be the centre piece of your home, and get oohs and aahs of appreciation from family and friends.

We love antiques – and we want you to love them as much as we do
We're always going to be slightly biased because we love antiques so much, but a vintage piece that comes with its own story is always going to be a perfect focal point, as well as the main topic of conversation in your home. A piece with a history that looks stylish, classy and unique, because no one else will have exactly that same piece.
    June means great sporting events
June means we've finally arrived in summer and there's some great sporting events to look forward to. There's the Olympics in Rio and then there's Euro 2016 in France, perhaps you have tickets and you're flying out there to watch? You'll have so much to look forward to and there'll be some great weather. Brazil is such a beautiful country and France is just the place to spend time at the beginning of summer.
Plenty to do in London this June
If you're not planning any such trip and you've not booked a holiday yet, then there's still plenty of things to do here in the UK. There's Wimbledon, Trooping the Colour, Polo in the Park, London's premier polo event, and of course the Pride Festival for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities.

Shop for your antiques with us and give yourself that all important free time to enjoy the warm weather
If you shop for your antiques and vintage items with us on you'll have plenty of time for all your summer events. This is because you can do it all online, rather than beating the pavement going from one shop to another, all from the comfort of your own home. Don't forget to keep a look out for some really gorgeous statement pieces for your home, they could make a radical change to the way your rooms look, and at the same time, give you an interesting talking point with friends and family.
Keep an eye out for our quiz this week and see if you can win our prize this month. Take care and until next time, all the best from us here at
