For sale is an original Zsolnay miniature cachepot / planter from the Art Deco period, produced in Pécs, Hungary, in the late 1920s.

The piece is made of fine ceramic and decorated with a bronze-toned base glaze combined with coloured eosin painting. The floral motifs (daisies) display a lively metallic shimmer that changes beautifully depending on the light.The pierced rim is a technically demanding decorative feature, giving the object a refined and highly distinctive appearance.
