    Antique Montereau Charger signed E. Furlaud circa 1878 - Watermill

    An antique charger by French (Montereau) Ceramic Paris, decorated platinum ground. Circa 1878. Finely painted with a watermill and ducks on the riverbank among tall grasses and tall trees, with a gilt line rim.

     

    Impressed Moteraea B & CIE and 38 to the base
     
    Signed on the front by the artist E. Furlaud.
     

    Diameter: 15.15 inches (38.5cm)
     
    Very good condition, no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration.
     
    A few marks on the back, but these don't appear to be restoration, possible where the charger has been wall mounted.
     
    Small amount of wear on the gilt rim which can only be expected due to it's age.
     
    I am willing to consider reasonable offers on this item.
     
    Please note, white marks are light reflection in the photos.
