Signature: Bishu Osafune Sukesada (Gimei: not reliable signature.)
Genki
The blade was polished .
Blade length : 64.98 cm or 25.58 inches.
Sori : 1.05 cm or 0.41 inches.
Mekugi: 3
Width at the hamachi : 3.13?cm or 1.23 inches.
Wide at the Kissaki : 1.96 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period.
Shape : Regular shaped Katana.
Jitetsu : Very tight Ko-itame, and it looks like a Muji-hada.
Hamon : Nie based, Gunome midare. This Hamon looks like Shinto.
Special feature : The signature “Bishu Osafune Sukesada” is engraved,
but this signature is not reliable. And I think this signature is Gimei.
There is rust around about 6 cm part from Hamachi..
