Circa 1860, beautiful French ormolu encrier/desk set in the Louis XV high Rococo style. There is foliate and scroll casting throughout the entire piece, and two large circular inserts for ink, surmounted by very stylish Rococo finial tops with open sections. Wonderful colour and patination.
