Antique Chinese antique scholars stone - c1850

Overview:
This is a fine Chinese scholars stone I’m releasing from my private collection. The stone dates from the mid c1800s and is in excellent condition. Scholars used these stones to hold down the scrolls they were working on. The wooden stand is not included. There is a growing interest in Oriental artifacts resulting in rising prices, making the scholar stone an excellent long-term financial investment.

Age: c1850
Size: 9.3cm long x 2cm high x 5.6cm wide
Condition: Excellent, no damage

A beautiful, rare piece of Chinese antiquity that will be much admired; it will provide an excellent financial investment as well as a possession to enjoy.
