antique longcase clock restored

Antique Grandfather Clock 8-day refurbished longcase grandfather clock. Circa 1820-Lovely looking round dial Longcase clock with eight day duration which strikes each hour on a cast bell . The case made of mahogany with the trunk door having beautiful figuring with double line inlay border and locking door with key. The trunk with canted corners and inlaid detail is very nice, the hood with key and inlay design and a domed top with 3 brass finials. The clock standing 82.5 inches high to the top of the clock and 88 inches including the final which can be removed,with a width of 20 at the widest part with the trunk width being just 14inches wide a very nice proportioned clock The movement has recently had a complete strip down clean and oiled with new gut lines, the case been restored to bring it back to it's former glory all is in good working order and ready to display in the home ,and requires no further restoration . The 12 inch round white painted dial is in good condition, with Jon Weston Hastings (circa 1820 ) painted on the dial together fitted with nice period hands. Complete with 2 weights pendulum and winding crank key. All in all a lovely period Longcase clock which would grace any home. You can view this clock and others by prior arrangement.
