Antique Grandfather Clock 8-day antique refurbished longcase grandfather clock. Circa 1860 - Price £1450.00 Lovely looking Longcase clock with eight day duration which strikes each hour on a cast bell . The case made of mahogany with the trunk door having beautiful figuring with double line inlay border and locking door with key. The trunk with canted corners and inlaid line detail is very nice, the hood with nice turned fluted columns complete with nice inlay design with brass top and bottom with a flat top and a nice and led regal top complete with a nice brass finial. The clock standing 87.5 inches high including the final which can be removed,with a width of 19inches at the widest part with the trunk width being just 14inches wide is a very nice proportioned clock The movement has recently had a complete strip down clean and oiled with new gut lines, the case been restored to bring it back to it's former glory all is in good working order and ready to display in the home ,and requires no further restoration . The fantastic white arch painted dial is in excellent condition, with E Johnson of Derby painted on the dial together fitted with nice period hands. Complete with 2 weights pendulum and winding crank key. All in all a lovely period Longcase clock which would grace any home. You can view this clock and others by prior arrangement.
