Antique Grandfather Clock Antique Price£3250.00 Ex Works. Grandfather Clock 8-day antique refurbished longcase grandfather clock. Circa 1760 -Lovely looking Longcase clock with eight day duration which strikes each hour on a cast bell . The case made of oak with fantastic figured walnut veneer is truly outstanding the trunk door having beautiful figuring with double inlay border and locking door with key. The trunk with square corners and inlaid detail is very nice, the hood with nice turned columns complete with brass capitals top and bottom with a flat top. The clock standing 86 inches high with a width of 20 inches at the widest part with the trunk width being just 14inches wide is a very nice proportioned clock The movement has recently had a complete service clean and oiled with new gut lines, the case been restored to bring it back to it's former glory all is in good working order and ready to display in the home ,and requires no further restoration . The fantastic brass and silvered arch dial is in excellent condition, with Richard Penn Sidmouth on the arch, rare rocking ship in working order calendar and second sweep hand together fitted with nice period hands. Complete with 2 brass cases weights pendulum and winding crank key. All in all a lovely period Longcase clock which would grace any home. You can view this clock and others by prior arrangement.
