a staffordshire 'sleeping beauty' jug, c.1860

A glazed, earthenware jug with a moulded design showing the princess with the old lady and her spinning wheel on which she will prick her finger and sleep for 100 years. The jug is complete with it's original pewter cover. This piece is unmarked. This piece is in excellent, original, sound condition with no surface wear or damage to the pewter cover.
