Beautiful Victorian Coromandel Vanity Box, circa 1867, having a vacant brass shield shaped cartouche to the lid, opening to reveal a selection of silver mounted cut glass jars, hallmarked London 1867-69 with the mark T.W Thomas Whitehouse who was in business from 1848-98, a manicure set mounted with mother of pearl and a hidden compartment in the lid of the box press a secret button and out pops the mirror to reveal a hidden place to house your correspondence and important documents. With a fall down front opening to two pull out drawers with a jewellery drawer, width 31cm, depth 23cm, height 20cm.
This box is in A1 condition the Glass bottles and all silver work is in pristine condition with no chips dents or knocks. Comes complete with original key.
