Rare 19th C Caucasian Shortsword (Kindjal). Ref: 40762. A must-have for collectors.
A LARGE 19TH CENTURY INDO PERSIAN KINDJAL, 64cm blade in superb antique condition with three fullers to the front and two to the back face. Flat blade tapering to a needle sharp point. Sword and case are in white metal (possibly/probably silver, not tested), intricately decorated with silver wire work, and raised elliptical and round decorative bosses, all on an attractive green background, the rear case face is undecorated.
Excellent antique condition, all in all a fine ten ready for display.
