A set of three and possibly one of a kind,late 19th early 20th century heavy brass fire irons are 70cm in height and each weight approximately half-a-kilo and in excellent condition.

These very heavy brass fire irons are quite unique because of their very unusual decorative handles featuring a clenched eagles claw holding a ball. The upper side of the shovel pan is decorated with a flowery design and all three, poker, shovel and tongs, have that golden brass patina colour authenticity, that occurs naturally with age and usage.
