Circa 1900. An unusual stylish pair of mahogany and EPNS Adam style candlesticks, the holders in EPNS with a lift off drip tray with a classic urn shape beneath, with beadings, acanthus leaves and foliate casting. The tops rest on two elegant turned and tapering stems with ring turned sections and a slow twisted and fluted section towards the base. All resting on circular stepped mahogany moulded bases.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
