    Antique Montereau Charger signed E. Furlaud circa 1878 - Snow Scene

    An antique charger by French (Montereau) Ceramic Paris, decorated platinum ground. Circa 1878. Finely painted with a snow covered mill and an old lady on the riverbank among snow covered fields and tall tress, with a gilt line rim.

     

    Impressed Moteraea B & CIE and 38 to the base
     
    Signed on the front by the artist E. Furlaud.

    Colour
     
    Very good condition, no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration.
     
    A few minor scratches, but none that detract from the beauty and value of this rare item.
     
    Small amount of wear on the gilt rim which can only be expected due to it's age.
     
    I am willing to consider reasonable offers on this item.
     
    Please note, white marks are light reflection in the photos.
