ITEM DESCRIPTION: Original Antique 19th Century Salt Glazed Stoneware Jug in a Blue and Beige Colourway decorated with a Dead Game Bird to the Front, and a Green Man type Face to the bottom of the handle. Hand made in the late 19th Century by the Martin Brothers. Fully marked to base with RW Martin Southall. A wonderfully grotesque ewer of a good, large size. Small chip to the base (see photos). A Rare Chance.
