A fine late 19thC ivory-glazed Parian Ware jug with green & gilt highlights, hand-decorated with a mallard taking off from irises by moonlight. It bears a back-stamp with the intertwined letters A & S that I am unable to identify but could be either a maker's mark or an owner's monogram.
