Indo-Persian Tabar heavy double headed battle Axe. Circa early 19th century. Iron. The hardwood shaft appears to have been reduced in length at sometime in history, probably/possibly to convert it to use as a close combat weapon. line decorated copper shaft ferrule.
CONDITION: Sound condition, surface corrosion. Evidence of wear commensurate with age, nicks to cutting edges.
