ITEM DESCRIPTION: Original Late 19th Century French Faience Pottery Jug or Vase in the form of a Duck, hand painted in typical colours and entitled 'Grande Maison' and signed HB Quimper. I believe this is the largest of the set (of graduated models), standing at 11 1/2" tall. An impressive piece in excellent condition with a faint hairline near the neck and glazing nibbles to the base, but still a wonderful and rare piece.
