Circa 1820, George III mahogany wine table with alterations. It has a circular mahogany top and raised fore-edge. The base of the table shows fine carving. The top of the column is flared and carved and the carving moves in both directions diagonally. There is a fluted carved urn beneath and circular bezels further down. The whole piece stands on 4 elegant cabriole legs with a stylish knee and raised curled toe, which stands on four slightly raised blocks.
