    ITEM DESCRIPTION: Original Early 19th Century Set of Two 'Gaudy Welsh' Jugs or Ewers, with Typical Hand Painted Decor throughout. Keeping together as both have the family names, the larger jug with writing "John & Nancy Clarkson Farsley 1839", possibly the parents, and the smaller jug with writing "Elizabeth Clarkson", possibly the daughter. The small jug is 4 1/2" tall, the larger jug is 8 1/2" tall. A rare find, and stunning jugs made very early in the new Queen Victoria's reign.
