This is an antique keepsake box. A Scottish, sycamore work or jewellery case, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880.

• Gorgeous figuring to these delightful Scottish case
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Select sycamore stocks show superb grain interest
• Presents striking golden caramel tones beneath a wax polish finish

• Shallow lid opens to reveal a removable mahogany inset tray
• Dressed to the front with a monogrammed lock escutcheon with the initials CA
• Held securely by the working lock — key present
• Protective base with a distinctive faux crocodile textured finish

This is an attractive antique keepsake box, with wonderful golden colouring and quality appeal. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
