This is a pair of antique decorative firedogs. An English, cast iron and brass fireside andiron in the manner of Thomas Jeckyll, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.
- Appealing decorative finish in the manner of the Thomas Jeckyll (1827 - 1881), architect and metal artist
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
- Quality cast iron present dark tonality and an appealing Aesthetic Period form
- Eye-catching brass ball ends with foliate decoration
- Arched front feet with a shaped rear rest
This is a striking pair of antique decorative firedogs, with a charming flower motif accentuating the fireside rests. Delivered ready for the home.
