A good, generously-proportioned example from around 1870-90 and in very good condition, with hand-holds to all four sides, the ends raised above the lower sides, the tray base unusually made from two distinct pieces of timber but, seemingly, all original, supported on a folding X-frame stand with plain stretchers and seat webbing, this attractive butler's tray will impress in the most elegant of reception rooms, whether period-furnished or more contemporary in style, fully-deserving of the admiring attention it will undoubtedly attract.O/All Tray Length 78cm x Width 53.25cm (30.75" x 21")
