Antique Victorian dovetail seamed copper coal scuttle

Item no YAL 2191A

Standard size Victorian copper coal scuttle circa 1880 - 1900 with a round shaped front - no obvious makers marks. Rolled edge joints, dovetailed rear seam. No old repairs, carrying handle solid and swings freely, rear handle very solid. The base sits flat and square to the floor, small dings commensurate with age and use for coal but no large dents or damage impacting use.

Approx 36 cm long, 28cm wide at its widest and 28cm high with handle horizontal.This is a well made bucket with strong riveted joints etc. Presented clean and lightly polished.
