A LARGE Mid Century tin washed copper exquisite table tray signed by the renowned house of Qalam-e Rabiei Hafezparast, Isfahan, in 'pointelle' script. It tells the tale of Farhad and Shirin and is depicted from the 12th cenury epic of the poet Nezami Ganjavi. It is laid out in a radial cartouche design and depicts six cartouches and one central roundel telling the story of Shahnameh ( The Persian Book Of Kings ) it is in excellent condition and being some 69cm in diameter and 1 1/2cm high.The weight is 4.2 Kilos. It is a beautiful tray carved and engraved by a known Master in Persia. It would look stunning wall hung, or used as intended.
