For sale is a good quality George III Period Mahogany Serpentine Sideboard. The sideboard has a drawer on the left hand side, a drawer in the centre and a cupboard on the right hand side. The right hand cupboard opens to reveal a fitted interior for holding wine & decanters etc. Below the centre drawer there are two tambour slides which open to reveal more storage space. Below this there is a small carved coat of arms, which may suggest that the piece was made in London. The sideboard stands on tapered legs terminating on spade feet. This piece is in a completely original untouched condition. There are signs of shrinkage to the solid mahogany top (see image). The top could be changed, but we feel as this piece hasn't been touched since it was made, it has a lot of charming character.
