ANTIQUE SUPERB GEORGIAN MAHOGANY CASED LONGCASE / GRANDFATHER CLOCK Lovely looking London Longcase clock, circa 1790 eight day duration with good five pillar movement which strikes each hour on a bell . With Thos Blinker London etched in the arch of the silvered dial The case made of mahogany and oak with the shaped trunk door having beautiful flame mahogany figuring with locking key The hood with shaped top, together with lovely brass capitals to the fluted columns. The trunk with the lovely door this is a fine looking clock . The clock standing 83 inches high excluding the top brass finial with a width of 18.5 inches at the widest point the trunk being 13.5 inches wide overly nice proportioned clock .The movement has recently been striped cleaned and oiled with new gut lines, the case been restored to bring it back to it's former glory and is a lovely mahogany colour it is in good working order and ready to display in the home ,and requires no further restoration, with nice period hands. Complete with 2 weights brass pendulum and winding crank key. All in all a lovely period Longcase clock which would grace any home. You can view this clock and others by prior arrangement.
