antique 19th century large gilded brass and copper indian / persian filigree octagonal tray.

This very fine intricate filigree octagonal artisanal tray has been worked from brass and copper, with four centralised cartouches depicting Indian / Persian Gods with sun god to the very centre, with accompanying trees and foliate decoration. Very finely worked in a three dimensional effect and being gilded, with some wear to the gilt. Quite large at 20" edge to edge and with a good weight of 2.2 Kilos and in excellent order, with hanger to the back. A very decorative and pleasing work of art from the middle east in the 19th Century.
