victorian ruby glass scent flask

This is a lovely piece. It is a Victorian ruby glass scent flask. Probably once part of a chatelaine with its ring and chain attachment, the whole thing measures 11cm in length. The ruby glass flask once had a gilt pattern but now there are only remnants of the decoration - a floral centre surrounded with what could have been acorns. The embossed gilt metal top is marked R.B Cooper Patent London which is related to the ball closure - doing away with the need for either a cork lining or glass stopper. The ball closure is still intact. A wee gem. Item cost includes postage.
