This is a fine example of beautiful Troika pottery
It is a Marmalade Jar and is decorated by Teo Bernatowitz, who only worked for Troika for about 18 months from about 1974, providing an element of rarety in the number of his pieces.
The Troika pottery was originally established in St Ives in 1963, and from 1970 the pottery was moved to Newlyn. This was manufactured in the Newlyn pottery.
The piece is in pristine condition, no chips, cracks or repairs and has the usual Troika pottery makes on the base alongside the decorators mark.
The colours are still fresh, being mainly oatmeal looking on the main body with a rich blue on the rim.
