This is a golden opportunity to treat yourself to an outstanding and totally original 1930's Art Deco double bed. These style of beds that scream the Art Deco style are very few and far between and anyone who loves this era or collects from it will know this too. Beautiful walnut veneer patterns which create the iconic 'fan shape' design add the stepped ebonised plinth really makes the wow factor. Both the headboard and the foot board have a matching herringbone patterned veneers and central deco motif. All you need is a mattress and bedding and you're good to go. This bed is a standard English double in size. We photographed the bed in natural daytime light so you can get a true idea of it's colouring which is a warm mid tone walnut brown with hints of honey. We've had the whole bed fully and professionally restored and fitted with a new custom made slatted base. Set comprises headboard, foot board, one pair of side irons and slatted base with free delivery within UK mainland. We have a matching Linen cupboard, please see other listings and a double wardrobe currently being restored.
Footboard width 148cm height 84cm . Headboard height 120 cm width 138 cm
