Circa 1830, set of 6 George IV mahogany dining chairs, with wonderful carved acanthus leaves on the top edges and a stylised carved cross rail. The chairs have stuffover seats covered in the original light green leather upholstery. Below the seat is a moulded apron and the chairs stand on turned, fluted and tapering legs at the front and outswept back legs. The chairs are unusual in style and very light in colour.
