A pair of quality circa 1830 54 bore Box-lock pocket pistols by Mabson,Labron & Mabson. Each are 19cm long overall with screw off 7.5 cm long octagonal barrels signed to top flats in front of the percussion actions, with sliding safety catch. Foliate engraved actions, fold down triggers, thumb piece safety and flat sided grips. British proof marks to the underside of barrels.
Mabson Labron & Mabson had a work shop at 25 Russell Street, Birmingham (1827-1833).
