ITEM DESCRIPTION: COLLECTION OF FIVE Original 1920s Theatrical Prints all signed by the artist Peter Bax (1895-1952) and some dated 1927. Peter Bax was the stage manager and designer at the Theatre Royal on Drury Lane at the time these prints were produced, later going on to work at the BBC. This set comprises: Off Stage, The Stage Door, 11am Full Company, Perch Spots and Interval. Similar Prints are also part of the V&A Collection (not currently on display). Simple Black Frames.
