A fabulous dish almost certainly by Minton, but very unusually is unmarked! It is a copy of a French Palissy workshop circa 1850s-60s a vibrantly coloured piece of Minton Majolica for the table with central food dish and four side dishes for dips or nibbles. (This has also been suggested by John Sandon one of the leading experts in the field of British ceramics) ,check out the pictures to see the condition we found this piece in in the wine cellar OF A LARGE Irish mansion, (there is a hairline crack on the underside of the dish not visible on the top,) look at the last picture , we are lucky to often get invited to buy privately from large old houses and estates in Ireland, thus our stock has never been seen before and is fresh to the market.
