Condition: Superb, having been completely refurbished and reupholstered Description: An extremely striking Swedish 1960s 'Capri' swivel lounge chair, designed by Johannes Andersen and manufactured by Trensum. The chair has been totally reupholstered inside and out, with new internals and an eye catching Mustard Yellow coloured Wool fabric, with subtle piping around the edges. What undoubtedly sets this chair off is its elliptical shape and low slung profile, a design which is totally unique to the era. The piece is raised on a heavy Beech wood frame internally, and a stylish four point metal swivel base below. Purchased in Sweden, this design icon is an original piece of Mid Century furniutre.
