Circa 1890. Late Victorian marquetry inlaid rosewood envelope card table. The quartered top in a figured rosewood with boxwood string and bone and boxwood marquetry inlay. The top opening to a polished interior with guinea wells and a tooled green baize playing surface. The frieze drawer with cast brass handle above square tapering inlaid supports with crinoline inlaid stretchers with finials, all above original brass and porcelain castors.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
