Large, striking French Art Deco patinated spelter figure of a prowling panther c1925. Beautifully modelled figure of a panther, realistically capturing its movement. Original patinated finish. The figure is raised on its original stepped portoro marble base. Attributed to French sculptor Nollet – of whom we have unfortunately not been able to find any information. Base measures 65 cm in width by 13 cm in depth. Maximum height is 23 cm.
This figure is in very good overall condition. No damage to the spelter figure. Extremely minor surface marks. The marble base with a few extremely minor nibbles - most notable being to front right corner. Very good condition is easily visible in images. Please see images as these form an important part of the description.
