DESCRIPTION:
Indo-Persian Tabar Axe. Circa early 19th century. Iron. Axe blade depicts well executed floral motifs. The wooden shaft is a modern addition, which in our opinion would benefit from removal.
CONDITION: Sound condition, surface tarnish and surface corrosion, the blade would benefit from the removal of corrosion. Evidence of wear commensurate with age, nicks to cutting edge.
