The item has a brass plaque with Cyrillic script which translates as souvenir of Sebastopol.

Made from four steel shot of  0.9 inch calibre and one steel shot of 2.1 inch calibreCurrently, I can't say what what type of artillery weapon these balls are a signature of, although its possible one or both were cannister or grape shot.The mass of the small iron ball is calculated as being originally ~ 2oz and the larger one would have originally been ~ 1.5 lb although the larger one has been hollowed out for the ink reservoir. As I haven't been able to find another example of this type to firm up my subjective thoughts on price offers are invited.
