A porcelain, kidney shaped dessert dish from Chamberlain's Worcester factory, produced between 1820 and 1830. White ground with a moulded, gadrooned edge highlighted with gilding. In the centre, a hand-painted lions head with an inscription above: PRO REGE ET. PATRIA (FOR KING AND COUNTRY). The base bears the printed Chamberlain's mark, in pink. In excellent, original, sound condition with only minor wear to the gilded decoration. Please note: The purchase price includes postage and packing.
