Circa 1970s, a well carved and gilded and painted mirror in the Baroque style. The stylish carved and gilded top surmounts the arched bevel edge mirror, which is contained in a gilt frame, with further foliate carving on the sides and beneath. The gilded areas are intersected by ebonized paint which has been stressed and has a lovely crackle.
