A lovely example of an early Victorian Bagatelle Board with slate bed, in a mahogany case. It measures 48" x 27" x 6" when folded for storage, but then opens to the full playing size of 96" x 27". The existing sage green cloth is still in good and the table has the original hand numbered ball sockets with original ivory balls and ash cue. The casing is in lovely condition with a fine patina and has original lifting handles and working lock. Most of these tables were made with a wooden bed, making this slate bedded version very rare and collectible.
