This is an antique piano stool. An English, painted music stool with riser, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.

• Appealing Victorian music stool with adjustable height
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Painted mahogany frame with time-worn cream hues
• Needlepoint upholstery shows light wear commensurate with gentle use

• Embroidered cushion accentuated with foliate pattern and finished with a blush pink brocade trim
• Twist-adjustable riser offering a height range of 5cm (2")
• Supported by a carved acanthus podium that conceals the riser bar
• Raised upon foliate carved knees with squat, cabriole legs and scrolled toes
