    ITEM 1448 CONDITION
    Item is in excellent condition with no visible damage.

     
    ITEM 1448 DESCRIPTION
    An antique figure of the Virgin Mary.
     
    Of mixed media, the face and hands are likely modeled of clay and pigmented.
     
    The eyes were inlaid in glass, a crescent-shaped halo of silver, and robed in silk garments.
     
    The ground-work base is circular and enriched with flowers and displayed under a dome of glass.
     
    Probably Spanish-made, circa 19th century.
